Battle for the Kokoda Track

The battles of Kokoda, Isurava and Brigade Hill are legendary in Australian folklore. The following are these key battles told from a soldier’s perspective and brought to life by Captain Andrew Flanagan of the Australian Defence Force.

TRADING LIVES FOR TIME

Inexperienced, undertrained and outgunned Militia units are sent to Kokoda to stop, what was until then, an overbearing Japanese Imperial Army

ALONE AND SURROUNDED

Overwhelmed by the Japanese, the Australians are forced back to Deniki to regroup. A daring attack on Kokoda by the Australians could turn the war!

THE BATTLE OF ISURAVA

Forced further back along the Kokoda Track, exhausted Australians dig in at Isurava awaiting fresh professional reinforcements and a Japanese onslaught. Can the Japanese be stopped?

BATTLE OF BRIGADE HILL

The Japanese juggernaut continues south toward Port Moresby. The Australians make another stand at Brigade Hill. But this time they may lose everything!
